For Ukrainian parents who have come to another country as refugees, the language can be a serious challenge to stay in touch with their children's school/daycare. By communicating well with Ukrainian parents as a school and/or daycare, you increase the well-being and parental involvement of these parents. You also ensure that this group of vulnerable students receive the attention they need. The Ziber platform helps you to communicate with these parents in their own language!

Ziber as an interpreter between you (team member) and the parent.

With the Ziber platform, you no longer need an educational interpreter. Ziber automatically translates messages, activities and all other information from school or daycare into the preferred language of the parents and in this way serves as an interpreter between you and the parent.

When the teacher or group leader sends a message to the parents in the primary language of the country, it is automatically translated to Ukrainian for the Ukrainian parents and vice versa. This way you can easily have a conversation with the parent and increase parental involvement.

How Sasha Ziber Helps to Perfect Ukrainian Language

Sasha Solodkova is a 33-year-old photographer from Kiev. Due to the war in Ukraine, she was forced to leave the country with her son. Fortunately, she is well cared for in the Netherlands, and she would prefer to return safely to her home country. In order to spend her time in the Netherlands well, she likes to give something back to her fellow countrymen, which is how she came into contact with Ziber. Together with Ziber, she is working on the perfect translation of the school platform into the Ukrainian language. Not only the parent app, but also the online support, so that Ukrainian parents who have their children at school in the Netherlands can easily find their way.
