Classroom board stops. What now?

Cloudwise has announced that they are going to phase out Klasbord. Klasbord Basis will stop on December 31, 2026, the Plus variant will follow on August 1, 2027. For hundreds of schools, this means that a familiar channel to parents is lost.

Cloudwise itself points to Parro. This is a logical choice if your school runs entirely on ParnasSys and you are mainly looking for a message channel. But it is not the only option.

What if Parro doesn't suit your school?

Does your school work with ESIS? Then Parro is a lot less obvious. Do you want to keep communication and student administration separate? Then it is smart to make your own choice, instead of automatically following the recommended route.

Ziber Kwieb connects with both ParnasSys and ESIS, and offers more than just messages: a call scheduler, absence notification, photo albums, and automatic translation into more than 40 languages. The latter makes a big difference for schools with non-Dutch speaking parents.

Free until the end of 2026

Schools that switch now will use Kwieb for free until December 31, 2026. This way there is room to set up quietly, invite parents and get used to the new app — before an invoice arrives.

Want to know more about the switch? Everything is explained on ziber.eu/klasbord: how the link works, how parents are invited, and what the switch costs after the free period.
