Works Council (MR)

Does your school use Ziber Team ? Then you can have a separate Ziber Zone created for the participation council in Ziber Team, where the school keeps control over the functions that the MR receives. The MR can then communicate with parents of the school, for example via messages , activities (meeting) or a poll and many other functions. In this way, the MR becomes an effective body that can make a positive contribution to the school in a safe way.

The MR has the right to advise on school decisions, such as changes to the school regulations, holiday policy and the school guide. This advice is not binding. The MR has the right to approve important policy choices, such as workload, student guidance and the school plan, which means that these decisions may not be implemented without their approval. The school can help the MR with their own Ziber Zone, so that they can more easily keep in touch with parents at school via Ziber Kwieb . Publish messages with the option to respond or plan a meeting where parents can indicate their participation .

The MR functions as a channel for communication between the school board, staff and parents. The MR ensures that there is good consultation on issues that concern the school community and provides feedback from the various levels (parents, staff) to the school management and vice versa. They can use the various tools and functions in Kwieb for this, such as setting up a Poll , sharing messages and minutes and planning activities . By using Ziber, the privacy of users is optimally protected, all parents can be reached easily and the MR does not have to search for all kinds of tools itself.

The MR plays a role in policy matters such as education policy (class schedules, student guidance), financial policy (budget and resources), quality assurance (evaluation and improvements) and working conditions (work pressure and working hours). The MR can easily share information with parents and ask for feedback via the Kwieb app . Transparency promotes trust and involvement.

The MR meets regularly (often once a month) to discuss important school matters and decide on actions to be taken. In many cases, the MR consists of a combination of staff members and parents. The Participation Council is required to report on its activities to the parents and staff. They can easily organize this by sharing a message with attachment (minutes) via Ziber Kwieb to the parents after the meeting.

The MR consists of parents and school team members. When there is a vacancy in the MR, parents can apply for it and if multiple parents make themselves available, the MR can hold an election to make a choice. The MR can propose the different candidate members via a message in the Kwieb app , then they can publish a Poll among all parents in Kwieb to make a choice!
