Through the Kwieb school app, parents receive messages , photos , videos and files from the school that, if desired by the parent,are automatically translated into their own preferred language . Through the activity calendar, parents get a clear overview of the school agenda and the parent can also easily transfer this to their own private agenda. Thanks to the beautiful and smart timeline, as a parent you immediately see the most important things when opening the Kwieb app and if you have multiple children, you can filter the timeline per child. If something has happened at school that parents urgently need to be informed about, parents will receive an emergency message .

Parents have full control over the privacy settings of their profile and that of their child in the Kwieb app . This allows them to determine which information is shared and even easily delete their Ziber ID if necessary. When the school has asked parents for different permissions , the parent can easily arrange this via the Kwieb app, whereby even conflicting answers from parents are taken into account.

Parents can actively participate in the Kwieb app (if the school has enabled this) by, for example, posting comments under group messages , indicating their participation in activities , reporting absences if their child is ill and making payments such as the voluntary parental contribution. The school can also easily gauge the parents' opinion via the Poll , so that the school team can take this into account in a decision. Parents who want to reach a teacher to briefly pass something on can do so via the Topics function . The parent can add their own partner to the conversation, but it is not possible to add other parents from the school. It is actually a very safe and optimized " Whatsapp for primary school ", which also speaks the language of every parent thanks to theautomatic translation function .

The Kwieb app can also promote interaction and connection between parents. For example, teachers can indicate in group messages that parents from that group may respond to them, which leads to connection between parents. As a parent, you can also look up the profile data of other parents from school to make contact, for example. That only works if you as a parent share your profile data and the parent you are looking up also shares his/her profile data. A class book for the ^21st century , for which every parent has given permission . That is how we like to see it at Ziber :)

Ziber has also thought about how a parent council or participation council at school can function better. If you are involved as a parent in one of the two councils, you could get your own Ziber Zone via school, so that you can easily get in touch with other parents at school. This makes the work in a parent council or participation council more effective and the school becomes a better community.

Because every home situation of a child is different, Ziber Kwieb is also different for every user. Whether you are the parent or caregiver of a child, you are divorced or married, you care for the child with more than two people, youdo not yet speak the language of school , you have multiple children at multiple schools... you can't think of it or we at Ziber have already thought about it.
